What is an Attendant Care worker (ACW)?

ACW’s provide supportive home making services, such as basic cleaning and organizing throughout the home, meal preparation, laundry, and/or shopping, as well as personal care services, such as assisting the client with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility/transfers, and/or feeding.

do you Have a Client?

If you already have a client and they are actively receiving services from SHO, please have your client notify the SHO office that they would like to add you to their care team. Once SHO hears from the client, Human Resources will reach out to additional preferred caregivers to start the hiring process.

If your client is not already part of SHO, they should contact their Case Manager to request SHO services. Please note we currently only take clients in rolled in the My Choice Wisconsin - Family Care program.

Need a Client?

If you don’t have a client, you can still apply to become a caregiver, and we will match new hires with a client.
